Project Statement

I observed a distinct difference in the amount of leisure time used by men and women. I began research on this theory and found evidence of its validity. I selected an article referring to my theory, which was in need of a visual explanation.

Salon Media Group operates the award winning news site Salon.com created by David Talbot in 1995. It was one of the first web magazines. The site has an audience of fifteen million monthly unique visitors, covering a broad range of topics, including breaking news stories, politics, culture, technology, and entertainment. 1 Since it’s creation, it has been unprofitable. 2

Through research, sketches, and organization of facts, I have come up with an interactive visual explanation to add interest to the article.
