Concept Statement

Name your intended audience (the person(s) you need to persuade
Employers in Seattle seeking clean design, dedicated craftsmanship,
and attention to detail.

Describe what you need to inform and persuade them of:
My abilities and fidelity to design.

To promote my:
Skills for taking on challenging tasks with a steady stance
and determination.

The goals of the site are:
My goal with the site is to relay a broad spectrum of styles intended
illustrate my skills in design, layout, color use, writing, originality,
mimicking, and restyling.

The ultimate message/philosophy (about who you are):
I am a detail oriented, hard working, dedicated person.

What is the story you are telling?
I would like an easy to navigate website that is scalable and does
not require the user to click the "back" button in the browser to see
more stuff. The style will be organic in feel; as well as I am able to
do on a computer.

What descriptive words can you use to describe the ‘vibe’ of your site:
‘smokey’, ‘arid’,
Clean, simple.

List the assets you need to persuade the user: Which 7 (minimum)
projects? scans of what?, photos of what objects? images from what
computer graphics program? what descriptive text? list them.

Business cabinet restyle (graphic design)
Posters (graphic design)
Brochure (graphic design)
Illustrated works (graphic design)
Logos (graphic design)
Creative writing projects
Eventually, typography (next quarter)

For the purpose of structuring your website portfolio pages, list the
categories of work you will show.
Layout
Logo
Illustration
Typography
Writing
Resume

Concept Statement:

The concept is to design a functional webpage containing works of design I have completed. The layout will be clean and simple to navigate, with a broad spectrum of works to engage the viewer and illustrate my competency. Parallax scrolling will be used as well a scalable grid format to enable the viewers’ access on mobile, tablet, and computer to have a consistent look and feel. The colors and scheme will remain neutral, allowing the illustrations to be the primary focus. The site will contain examples of: Layout, Logo, Illustration, Typography, and Writing as well as a Resume. Due to the evolving nature of graphic design, updates will be made on a regular basis to show the most current works. My hope is to offer an enjoyable experience.
